In this teach-in, we will analyze the role of American organized labor in
the struggle for racial and economic justice, specifically looking at the
political economy of the Israeli occupation and the ways in which it is
analogous to the apartheid regime used in South Africa before 1994. We
will discuss how we as members can take action to advocate for justice
within our union.

Palestinian BDS National Committee: Popular Palestinian resistance against
Israeli oppression enters its second

This uprising is led by a generation of fearless young Palestinian Davids
who are no longer intimidated by the brutality of the Israeli Goliath and
who are asserting their right to self-determination and freedom. It comes
as a response to the escalation of Israel’s criminal attacks on and ethnic
cleansing of Palestinians.

Vigil for Palestine: 11/6, 1145-1215 at NYU
Please join the Law Students for Justice in Palestine and the National
Lawyers Guild for a silent vigil this Friday, 11/6, from 11:45am-12:15pm
in the Vanderbilt Courtyard, 40 Washington Square South. We will hold
signs, remember those who have been killed by Israeli forces, and oppose
the culture of dehumanization of Palestinians that has become pervasive on
US campuses.
