Nationwide Vigils for Trayvon Martin & Victims of Hate Violence

7:00pm until 9:00pm

On February 26th, George Zimmerman tracked down & shot Trayvon Martin. He still hasn’t been arrested. On March 26th, we will hold vigils on the one month anniversary of Trayvon’s murder. Location and time details are below.

We will remember Trayvon and the countless thousands of people who have been wrongfully murdered because of prejudice and fear. You know some of their names. Trayvon Martin. Sean Bell. Oscar Grant. Sakia Gunn. Brisenia Flores. Luis Ramirez. But many many more remain nameless, faceless victims of a corrupt, unjust society says some lives are just worth less than others.

Come out, light a candle, tell a story, sing a song or just quietly observe the moment. This is a space for people to peacefully mourn, share their anger, and give each other strength and hope in the long fight for justice.

If you don’t see your city listed below, email and organize one where you live.
