Your continuing efforts and mobilization are critical in order to provide support to the Egyptian people as they struggle to defend, protect and complete their revolution. Your continuing phone calls are particularly important! We are asking all endorsers to call the offices below at least twice a day in the coming week.

Today, two students, Mostafa Nasr and Islam Kamel, were beaten, interrogated and detained. After numerous calls from around the world, they were released. Now, we need to keep the pressure on and call these offices and demand all political prisoners be freed, and the repression and killing end. In particular, call for the freedom of Alaa Abdel Fattah and an end to the persecution of Mohammad Hashem:

As we have seen in the last few days the SCAF has committed disgusting crimes against the peaceful protesters in Cairo. Those crimes are not just an insult Egyptians but against humanity. Whoever stay silent and not standing for Justice and humanity is not any better than those who commit the crimes.

It does not matter what your political views or beliefs are political. Whether you are an Islamist, a liberal, whether you belong to 6 April movement or Elbaradei Supporters or even if you are not Egyptian its a shame not to do something and say NO to tyranny and dictatorship.

STAND FOR HUMAN RIGHTS! BE POSITIVE!

Join us in protests in front of the Egyptian consulates in USA to show solidarity with the Egyptian activists in Tahrir square.

Below is the statement with an updated list of organizational signatories. We encourage you to distribute to your allies and colleagues:
