I want to thank all of the volunteers who came out yesterday to the West Indian Day Parade.  It was a lot of fun and a great success.  We handed out 1,000 flyers in three hours, and but for the subways being closed where we were we would have printed out more and handed out more.  Next, year we will definitely more prepared!

A special thanks to Aisha Richards for translating our Know Your Rights flyer into Creole.  And a very special thanks to my partner in crime (yes, pun intended) Bharati Narumanchi whose help I could not have done this without.
