Sun., Jan. 9, 1 p.m.: Justice for Gaza
Two years since the Israeli attacks of 2008/2009 that killed more than 1400 Palestinians in Gaza, march and rally to demand an end to the ongoing siege.

Mon., Jan. 10, 7 p.m.: Stop FBI Repression
Meeting to discuss plans for the January 25 National Day of Action to Protest FBI and Grand Jury Repression and ongoing work to defend our right to speak out for justice.
Location: Center for Constitutional Rights, 666 Broadway, 7 Fl. (between Bleecker and Bond), Manhattan.

Weds., Jan. 12, 1 p.m.: Haiti Relief
One year after the earthquake in Haiti, press conference to demand an immediate end to US/UN occupation, and release of all emergency aid to Haitian popular organizations.
Location: Haitian Council, 271 Madison Avenue, (between 39 and 40 streets), Manhattan.

Weds., Jan. 12, 7-9 p.m.: Eyewitness Report from Gaza
Former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark led a delegation that, after a day-long struggle for admission, crossed into Gaza on Jan. 4 to show solidarity with the blockaded population of the strip.

Thurs., Jan 13, 7:30 p.m.: Organizing Meeting for the April 9 NYC National Antiwar Demonstration

Mon., Jan. 25, All Day: Protest FBI and Grand Jury Repression
In December 2010, under the direction of U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, the FBI delivered nine new subpoenas in Chicago to antiwar and Palestine solidarity activists. Patrick Fitzgerald’s office is ordering the nine to appear at a Grand Jury in Chicago on January 25.

Stop charter invasions, Defend public education, Say no to privatization.
Location: City Hall Plaza, Manhattan.

Thurs., Jan. 27, 7:30 p.m.: Holocaust Remembrance Day — Never Again, for Anyone
Holocaust survivors Dr. Hajo Meyer and Hedy Epstein, together with Palestinian-American academic Dr. Hatem Bazianin, discuss the moral obligation to end the Israeli ethnic cleansing of Palestine, persecution of Muslim and Arab communities in the US, and attacks on other communities and immigrants.
Location: Barnard University, Barnard Hall-Held Auditorium, 3009 Broadway, Manhattan.

Petition: We stand with accused whistle-blower US Army Pfc. Bradley Manning
If Bradley Manning is indeed the source of the WikiLeaks materials, the nation owes him our gratitude. We ask Secretary of the Army, the Honorable John M. McHugh, and Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, General George W. Casey, Jr., to release Pfc. Manning from pre-trial confinement and drop the charges against him.
