ACTIONS: U.S. War Threats Against Korea
In response to a U.S. War Crisis on Korean peninsula we are urging your participation in a Rally this Tuesday, Nov 30 at 5 p.m. at Rockefeller Center and 2 on-line actions.

Thurs, Dec. 2, 5 p.m.: Manhattan
Rally Stop FBI Repression – Delegation to Rep. Nadler’s office
As part of the week of nationally coordinated actions to STOP FBI REPRESSION and CALL OFF THE GRAND JURY WITCH HUNT on Thursday, Dec 2 at 5 p.m. we will hold a Rally and meeting at Congressman Jerrold Nadler’s office. As the Chair of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, Representative Nadler has an important role to play in defending the civil liberties of all Americans.

Sat., Dec. 4, 2-5 p.m.: Manhattan
Mainstreaming Gaza
An afternoon of words and music featuring Laila El-Haddad. The writer and blogger will discuss her new book, “Gaza Mom: Palestine, Politics, Parenting and Everything in Between.” Rich Siegel, pianist and composer, will perform a couple of songs, including “In Palestine.”

Sat., Dec. 4, 7 p.m.: Brooklyn
Surveillance, Informants, and Entrapment — a screening of a Democracy Now film about the role of the FBI in our communities
Join us for a screening of a new half-hour documentary film by Democracy Now journalists about preemptive prosecutions of Muslim men entrapped by the FBI, and the struggles of the families organizing against these unjust policies.  Community members are invited to discuss with the filmmaker and activists about how Muslim Americans deal with the daily realities of the FBI’s role in their communities.

Fri, Dec. 10, 7-9 p.m.: Manhattan
The Violation of Human Rights:  The “War on Terror” Continues at Home and Abroad
Join the NYC Coalition to Stop Islamophobia on Friday, December 10th, for an eye-opening panel presentation and open discussion about how fear and anti-Muslim bigotry is mobilized to enable political prosecution, entrapment, targeted assassinations, indefinite and abusive detentions, and unjust occupations of Muslim & Arab countries, while at home we face the rise in Islamophobia.  Hear speakers who will present different perspectives, from attorneys to activists.
