Palestine Right to Education Week — Schedule of Events
Students in Palestine have called for a Right to Education International Week of Action. Responding to their request, Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine (C-SJP),  New York University SJP, and The Palestinian Club at Brooklyn College will be holding a series of events throughout the week of November 14th-20th. The events will highlight issues that Palestinian students face in Palestine and in the Diaspora.

Tues., 11.16, 5:30 p.m.: Manhattan
Protest the Hebron Settlers’ Manhattan Fundraiser: Stand Up Against Racism & Violence
Human Rights organizations have documented regular physical violence against Palestinians and destruction of their homes and fields by settlers trying to drive them out of their land. Please join us in protesting the Hebron Fund’s annual fundraiser dinner supporting the illegal settlement movement that is displacing and brutalizing Palestinians.!/event.php?eid=165842830105961

Thursday, 11.18, 11 a.m.: Manhattan
Counter-protest ACT! For America Islamic Hate Group
Join activists on Thursday, 11/18 at 10:45 AM for a rally to counter-protest the press conference being held by ACT! for America, an Islamic hate group, who plan on speaking to the press AT 11 AM about denouncing the Park51 Cordoba House Project and then will deliver a petition to Mayor Bloomberg to stop construction! Counteract Islamophobia wherever it shows its ugly head.
