Subject: Antiwar Bulletin: 1199 & UAW Endorse Protests

Bush’s “war on terror” has inflicted thousands of casualties amongst G.I.s, Iraqis and Afghans.  It has squandered untold billions of dollars that erode funding for human services like Legal Aid.  It has been accompanied by attacks on on the rights of immigrants, Muslims, labor and dissenters.

And it is based on lies.

Those are some reasons why LAS parent unions 1199 and UAW Region 9A have endorsed mass antiwar protests in NYC on March 20, the first anniversary of the war against Iraq.

To help, please circulate the flyer (below and attached) and reply by return e-mail.  More information will be forthcoming.
